Prevention, Education and Testing

The Prevention, Education and Testing program is the longest running program of its kind in Pinellas County.  HIV/AIDS prevention and education programs are provided for Pinellas County students, local organizations, and businesses.  Continuing Education Units for medical and nursing institutions and personnel are also provided through the ASAP Speakers Bureau.  Free HIV/AIDS OraSure testing is provided on site within the community as requested at Northeast High School and designated sites strategically located within the Midtown area.  The prevention team will assist local agencies, councils, and community organizations with planning health fairs, outreach endeavors and related civic activities.
