About ASAP

AIDS Service Association of Pinellas, Inc. (ASAP)

Over 20 years of providing care…..

ASAP was once three separate entities: ACP, EMPACT and FACT. The ASAP organizations have been in the business of providing services to the Pinellas County HIV/AIDS community since 1987.  After uniting under the organizational umbrella of The Hospice of the Florida Suncoast in 1997, ASAP became the official “calling card” name for this diverse AIDS Service Organization.

Comprehensive services…..

ASAP provides a myriad of support services and referrals for the HIV/AIDS community. Services in Pinellas County include: case management, food and personal needs pantry, children’s program, prevention, testing and counseling, monthly client dinners, annual client retreat, limited emergency financial assistance and much more.  In Pinellas and surrounding counties, our CDC funded Suncoast Project provides testing and prevention education for the MSM community (in-house and mobile unit).

Community Engagement…..

ASAP’s signature fundraising events include: AIDS Walk St. Pete, Dining Out for Life and The World AIDS Day Gala.  We also offer an annual client retreat, support groups, back-to-school and holiday support for our children, World AIDS Day Prayer Breakfast and multiple volunteer opportunities.  For more information please watch our website!

Vision…..

To be the center of excellence for the provision of resources and care to people infected or affected by HIV/AIDS.
