Florida Family AIDS Network (FAN) pursues a vision to serve children and families who are infected and affected with HIV. Family case management provides family-centered comprehensive care to children, youth, women, and their families. FAN case managers coordinate access to comprehensive services for HIV-infected and affected children and families. Case managers are the resource guides for families and assist them in gaining access to services. Service is provided for HIV positive pregnant women and their unborn babies. Once a child is born, we monitor the progress of the infant at All Children’s Hospital Infectious Disease Clinic. Should a child test positive for HIV a case manager will accompany the family to scheduled medical appointments.
